Personalized Pens Do Great Things

Big things sometimes really come in small packages. I had a personal encounter that affirmed this old saying just last week. A friend in the office gave some personalized pens he also got from another person. The tiny gift eventually became a very big help for me.

The morning I came to the office, I was surprised when he gave me those crappy personalized promotional  pens. I asked him what those promotional gifts were for. He said that he just felt like giving them to me. No reason at all. It turned out that I would really appreciate those pens he gave me, and I found out all about it as I went home that day.

You see, I’m a single mom trying to make ends meet everyday. Unfortunately for me, I was mugged on the way home. The wallet which contained my 15 days worth of pay, credit cards and cell phone were taken. Everything is gone, except the personalized promotional high tech pens given to me earlier in the day.

How did those things help me? Well, when I went to the police station, I used those pens to write down my statements. Aside from that, I used those pens when I came to the office the next day. Since I can’t even afford a darn gum let alone a pen, I used it to write a letter to my boss to ask for a salary loan

Eventually the robber was caught and my boss gave me something to meet my expenses. Thanks to the personalized promotional ballpoint pens given to me, I was able to survive throughout the whole ordeal.
